In his speech, Army General Viktor Zolotov noted that the architectural heritage of the North Caucasus is the ancestral towers and fortresses, which for the centuries personified the inextricable link between generations of highlands peoples, their constant readiness to protect their native land. It is no coincidence that the watchtower of the Vainakhs became one of the central elements of the official state symbol of the Chechen Republic.

The Director of the Rosguard emphasized that each military town is, in fact, a fortress that guards the peace and tranquility of our citizens, and the new facility, which was put into operation today in Grozny, will become the home for the extra-departmental security units and Special Purpose Mobile Unit employees.

During the construction of this building complex, the latest technologies of block-modular construction, previously successfully mastered in the course of other infrastructure projects, were widely used. According to the head of the Rosguard, over the past few years, in this way, it was possible to build or modernize the deployment points of five military towns and three laboratories for diagnosing the new coronavirus infection ahead of schedule, and eight more complexes for various purposes are scheduled to be put into operation next year.

Army General Viktor Zolotov drew attention to the fact that many years of constructive dialogue with the leaders of the Russian regions contributes to the strengthening of the potential of the National Guard Troops and the qualitative improvement of service conditions, which makes it possible to comprehensively address the issues of developing local units of the Rosguard.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Russian National Guard Troops noted that in the current situation, which required the country's maximum mobilization of forces to support the Armed Forces and law enforcement agencies, the interaction of the Rosguard with regional authorities had reached a qualitatively new level. A vivid example is the comprehensive support that the head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, and his team provide to the Russian National Guard the large-scale assistance both at the points of deployment of the Troops and on the line of contact.

Army General Viktor Zolotov stressed that everyone who is now on the front line or working with full dedication in the rear defends the right of our children to a decent and fulfilling life in a free country, the right to preserve the unique history of Russia, its original national traditions and cultural diversity. In support of this idea, the Director of the Rosguard quoted the poems of the famous Chechen poet and writer Khamzat Sarakaev, whose ninety-fifth birthday will be celebrated in three days.

The head of the Rosguard noted that military personnel and employees of the Chechen garrison of the Russian National Guard Troops are showing exceptional valor and courage, more than five hundred of whom have already been presented the state awards, and today their valiant list has been replenished with new names.

Army General Viktor Zolotov expressed special gratitude to the personnel, all soldiers and officers for the courage and heroism they show in battles with neo-Nazis, and also congratulated the personnel with their new house.
