On May 23, under the leadership of the Deputy Director of the Rosguard, Colonel General of Police Sergey Lebedev a meeting of the Operational Headquarters of the Rosguard on ensuring the enhanced security measures during the preparation and holding of socio-political, major international sports, religious and other official events on the territory of the Russian Federation was held. During the meeting, the participants discussed the issues of preparing the National Guard Troops for participation in ensuring public safety during the international and all-Russian events in St. Petersburg in June-September 2023 and the safety of the children's health campaign in 2023 in the Russian Federation.
Traditionally, the meeting was attended by the members of the Rosguard Operational Headquarters: the heads of the structural divisions (directorates) of the Central Command, and the commanders of the districts, the commander of the Separate Operational Purpose Division the heads of the territorial bodies of the Rosguard, as well as the heads of military educational institutions participated in the videoconferencing mode.
Taking into account the issues under consideration, the representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Federal Security Service and the Federal Protective Service of Russia for the North-Western Federal District were invited to participate in the meeting.
Oleg Logunov, the Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the North-Western Federal District addressed the meeting participants.
Reports were made by the heads of the Directorate General for the Protection of Public Order and the Directorate General for Intelligence of the Rosguard, the Commander of the North-Western District of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation.
The head of the Operational Headquarters of the Rosguard gave additional instructions to its participants for the further implementation of the tasks assigned to the National Guard Troops.
