The Deputy Director of the National Guard Troops Federal Service of the Russian Federation - Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation, Colonel General Ivan Shmelev and Colonel General Vladislav Ershov made a working trip to the North-Western District of the Rosguard and inspected how combat experience gained during the special military operation is being introduced into the training of troops.
In an operational brigade in the Leningrad Region, Colonel General Ivan Shmelev checked the combat readiness of the mortar battalion and the provision of military personnel with all types of allowances in accordance with the regulations and norms. Also, the Deputy Director of the Rosguard honored the memory of the servicemen of the unit who died in the line of military duty and laid flowers at the memorial.
At the St. Petersburg Institute of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation, Colonel General Ivan Shmelev got acquainted with the innovations in the training of cadets.
Colonel General Vladislav Ershov visited the personnel training center of the North-Western District of the Rosguard in the Leningrad Region, where he was shown advanced training methods for military personnel, extra-departamental security officers, Special Purpose Mobile Units (OMON) and Special Rapid Response Units (SOBR) of the Russian National Guard.
At the end of the working trip, the Deputy Directors of the Rosuard discussed with the commander of the North-Western District of the National Guard of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant General Alexei Vorobyov, topical issues of improving the combat training of the Rosguard units.
