The Deputy Director of the Federal Service of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation - Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation Colonel General Alexei Bezzubikov took part in the opening ceremony of the "EXPOTECHNOSTRAZH advanced technologies exhibition for ensuring the security of the individual, society and the state. The Day of advanced technologies", which takes place in St. Petersburg from 15 to 17 March.
During the opening ceremony, a welcoming address of the Director of the Rosguard, Army General Viktor Zolotov, was read to the guests of the exhibition.
“The special military operation, the main goals of which are the denazification and demilitarization of Ukraine, has become a forced response to the aggressive actions of the followers of Nazi ideology against the civilian population of Donbass. At the same time, in order to achieve all the tasks assigned, it is necessary to continue work on improving the provision of our troops with equipment and weapons. The main mechanism for promptly solving the problems of provision the National Guard Troops with modern and promising types of weapons, military and special equipment is monitoring the types of weapons and equipment developed by the industry through the participation of the National Guard Troops in various congress and exhibition events, such as the "ARMY" International Military-Technical Forum "ARMY", the "Integrated Security" International Salon of Security Equipment and a number of others, but we see the greatest effect in holding departmental exhibitions, the best example of which was the International Exhibition "EXPOTECHNOSTRAZH", held last year in St. Petersburg, said Colonel General Alexei Bezzubikov.
The Deputy Director of the National Guard Troops Federal Service, the Commander of the North-Western District of the Rosguard Major General Alexei Vorobyov, the Vice Governor of St. Petersburg Kirill Polyakov and representatives of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry for Emergency Situations, the Defense Ministry examined the latest developments of the Russian military-industrial complex, including the latest military and special equipment, unmanned aerial vehicles, weapons, protective gear, personal armor and chemical protection, communications, medical and engineering equipment. This year, more than 60 largest enterprises from all over the country took part in the exhibition, including the Kalashnikov Concern, the plant named after. V.A. Degtyarev, Ural Automobile Plant, PJSC KAMAZ, Military Industrial Company, EDB Tekhnika, ASTEYS, RPA Spetsmaterialov, RAMEK-VS, ENIKS and other manufacturers.
A rich scientific and business program was also held within the framework of the exhibition. During the round tables, experts discussed the issues of information security; ensuring the security of the individual, society and the state in modern conditions; development of military hardware, weapons and equipment of the National Guard Troops, including robotic systems; development of engineering and technical means of protection; the use of unmanned aerial vehicles; procurement of weapons and military equipment at closed tender sites; safety at industrial enterprises; innovative developments of manufacturers of medical aid equipment; transport infrastructure security; fire safety; security of territorial complexes.
For the guests of the exhibition, the officers of the "Granit" Special Rapid Response Unit (SOBR) held master classes in tactical medicine, the "Bastion" Special Purpose Mobile Unit (OMON) employees demonstrated hand-to-hand combat and self-defense techniques, the cadets of the St. Petersburg Military Institute of the National Guard of the Russian Federation taught everyone to control an unmanned aerial vehicle. The work of interactive shooting galleries with the possibility of shooting from various types of firearms was organized.
The Canine specialists with service dogs and the members of the "Igora Drive" organization performed a show for the guests and participants of the exhibition, including the elements of extreme and defensive vehicle driving. There was also a festival of military bands of the North-Western District of the Rosguard and a Youth Day was held with the involvement of students from educational organizations of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region.
