Every day, in the settlements of the Lugansk region, reconnaissance and sapper units of the Russian National Guard Troops find ammunition depots and unexploded shells of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The residents of the regions liberated from the nationalists are asking to destroy the shells that lie right on the streets, or indicate the premises in which the Rosguard servicemen find weapons and ammunition abandoned by the retreating military personnel of the Ukrainian Troops.
So, during special searching activities, the reconnaissance group of the Russian National Guard Troops in one of the settlements of the Lugansk region found in the granary building 18 OS-20G fragmentation tank projectiles and 12 MT-12 anti-tank projectiles. In the neighborhood, in non-residential premises, The Rosguard servicemen found 27 boxes with mortar shells of various calibers (125 pieces), 3 OG-9m1 rounds and several TG15M fuses.
During the reconnaissance operation, the Russian National Guard servicemen detained a man, a member of a nationalist cell with distinctive tattoos all over his body, and also discovered 2 tank mines and 250 ammunition of various calibers.
In another settlement of the Lugansk region, during reconnaissance and search activities, the Rosguard servicemen discovered and destroyed two 220 mm unexploded “Uragan” cluster shells.
In all settlements liberated from nationalist formations and at the entrances to them, there are checkpoints of the Russian National Guard Troops. Villages and settlements of the Lugansk region are gradually returning to peaceful life. Residents clean up the garbage on the streets, restore damaged houses and prepare for May 9 celebrations. The Rosguard servicemen protect the peace and tranquility.
