The First Deputy Director of the National Guard Troops Federal Service of the Russian Federation – First Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation Colonel General Viktor Strigunov made a working trip to the special military operation area.
Colonel General Viktor Strigunov held a number of working meetings, listened to the reports of the commanders of the Russian National Guard Task Forces on the performance of service and combat tasks during the special military operation, examined the technical support facilities, and the conditions of service and life of the National Guard servicemen.
During the trip, the First Deputy Director presented awards to the distinguished servicemen and employees of Rosguard. For courage, bravery and selflessness demonstrated in the performance of military and official duty, the National Guardsmen were presented the state awards - the medal of the Order of “Merit for the Fatherland” II degree with swords, the medal "For Courage", the Suvorov medal, the Zhukov medal and the Nesterov medal. In addition, a number of servicemen and employees were awarded departmental medals and insignia for the honorable service.
Addressing the soldiers, sergeants, warrant officers and officers, participants of the special military operation, Colonel General Viktor Strigunov stressed that today the Russian National Guard personnel carry out important tasks to liberate the Donbass republics from Nazism, take part in combat actions, and provide assistance to the civilian population in the liberated territories.
The First Deputy Director of Rosguard thanked the servicemen and employees for their service and expressed confidence that they would successfully fulfill all the tasks facing them.
