As a result of conducting aerial optical-electronic reconnaissance, the employees of the Rosguard Special Forces units revealed the concentration area of the enemy manpower and military hardware. The information was transferred to the artillery units of the Russian Armed Forces. As a result of the artillery strikes, up to 50 enemy servicemen, 9 units of special vehicles, self-propelled guns, an artillery gun, and two infantry fighting vehicles were destroyed.
The Special Forces units of the Russian National Guard, in cooperation with the Federal Security Service (FSB) employees, held special targeted activities in the city of Lisichansk. As a result of the operational information verification, two RPG-22 grenade launchers, maps, documents of operational interest were found at the address of residence of the suspect in complicity with the State Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), who previously served in the nationalist battalion "Lugansk".
Also, as a result of reconnaissance and search activities, two ATGMs "Kornet" and "Fagot" and 4 missiles for them, 5 grenade launchers and more than 600 rounds for them were discovered and seized, including twenty-eight 40-mm rounds for a foreign-made grenade launcher RLV-HEF, 70 rockets, more than 7 000 artillery shells (mines), 40 anti-tank and anti-personnel mines, 129 hand grenades and about 26 000 small arms ammunition.
