In Kazan, the Director of the National Guard Troops Federal Service of the Russian Federation - Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation, Army General Viktor Zolotov, together with the head of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, took part in the opening ceremony of a new administrative building for the units of the territorial directorate of the Rosguard.
The event was attended by the Deputy Commanders-in-Chief of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation, the leadership and personnel of the territorial directorate.
Army General Viktor Zolotov stressed that the most important factor in the full development of the region is the close attention of the leadership of the Republic of Tatarstan to strengthening security and law and order, where a special place is given to the Rosguard. The Commander-in-Chief noted that the Rosguard highly appreciates the assistance of the republican authorities in solving the problems of resource provision for the activities of the troops, with the assistance of which, over the past five years alone, about a hundred units of service vehicles have been transferred to the units, more than forty buildings and premises have been repaired and put into operation.
Opening the new administrative building of the republican directorate, the head of the Rosguard said that today the implementation of another major infrastructure project had been finished. It became possible thanks to the support of the leadership of the Republic of Tatarstan. Army General Viktor Zolotov emphasized that the placement of the Center for Licensing and Permit Work and extra-departmental security units in this facility will qualitatively improve the level of public services provided to the population. Comfortable conditions have been created here for the reception of citizens and legal entities on the issues of arms trafficking and security activities, aimed at eliminating queues and saving applicants' time. The Commander-in-Chief expressed confidence that with the opening of the new building, the efficiency of the work of the units for implementation of the state supervision over ensuring safety of the fuel and energy complex facilities will increase. In addition, extra departmental security units, which make a significant contribution to ensuring reliable protection of the property of the population and organizations in the region, will receive an additional impetus to development.
The Director of the Rosguard congratulated the personnel on the housewarming, thanked the head of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov and expressed gratitude to the leaders of the republican government and municipalities, representatives of organizations and the public for their help and support to the troops.
“Today, all our activities, regardless of the place of service and occupation, are subordinated to a single goal: achieving the objectives of the special military operation and eliminating military threats to Russia,” the head of the department said.
Army General Viktor Zolotov stressed that, as in other regions of the country, the inhabitants of Tatarstan showed high solidarity and unanimity in the defense of the Motherland. It was in Tatarstan that one of the first volunteer battalions was formed, and the republican authorities were among the first to organize centralized support for humanitarian projects and initiatives aimed at restoring peaceful life in the liberated territories.
The Commander-in-Chief noted that the units of the republican garrison of the Rosguard continue to make a worthy contribution to the overall victory. Their soldiers and commanders tirelessly demonstrate examples of courage and valor, both on the line of combat contact and in the performance of daily tasks. Army General Viktor Zolotov thanked the personnel for their impeccable service and presented state awards to the servicemen and employees of the directorate who distinguished themselves in combat missions during the special military operation. Departmental medals of the Rosguard were also awarded to the representatives of the contracting construction organization that built the facility.
The head of the Republic of Tatarstan stressed that the region pays close attention to creating conditions for the work of the units of the National Guard Troops. This directly affects the efficiency of their activities and the quality of life of citizens. Rustam Minnikhanov noted that today the employees of the units of the National Guard Troops from the Republic of Tatarstan are adequately fulfilling their tasks during the special military operation, demonstrating courage, bravery and fortitude. He thanked the Rosgurdsmen for their service, presented republican awards to the Rosguard servicemen and employees.
The guests of honor inspected the duty officer room, the classroom, and the weapon storage room of the extra-departmental security unit, the reception hall for citizens to provide public services through licensing and permit work, rooms for briefing outfits and working rooms for personnel. They visited a multifunction sports hall, a shooting range and other facilities of the administrative complex.
Also during the working trip, Army General Viktor Zolotov held a meeting with Rustam Minnikhanov and representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan.
