During the liberation of the territory of Ukraine from nationalist formations, servicemen and employees of Rosguard demonstrate courage and heroism.
The officer of Special Rapid Response Unit (SOBR) of Rosguard commanded a combat group that stormed the buildings seized by the nationalists. In a fierce battle, the Russian National Guard Troops managed to repel the counterattack of the Nationalists Battalions. Covering his comrades, the officer opened a machine-gun fire and destroyed several members of the enemy’s sabotage unit.
A serviceman of the Russian National Guard Troops covered the movement of assault groups with fire when crossing the river. Being under artillery fire, the Russian sergeant fought for a whole day in the held positions, commanding the unit. As a result of the courageous actions of the serviceman, the nationalist unit was destroyed, and units of the Rosguard took control of objects in the liberated territory.
By the decree of the President of the Russian Federation, for courage and heroism shown in the line of duty, Police officer was awarded the Order of Courage. His unit came under heavy mortar fire. Despite being wounded, the officer continued to command the personnel in the battle with superior enemy forces. With his clear actions, the commander ensured the unit’s exit from the fire of nationalist formations and promptly organized the evacuation of wounded comrades.
The Rosguard serviceman was awarded with a medal “for Bravery”. During the execution of the combat missions, the Special Forces unit was ambushed by nationalists. A heavy battle began. Despite the injury and the strongest enemy artillery fire, the serviceman of the Russian National Guard Troops suppressed several firing points, thereby making it possible for the main force of the unit to regroup for the successful completion of the combat mission.
