A delegation of the National Guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan headed by the Chief of the Canine Service, Lieutenant Colonel Makhsudali Khasanov, paid a working visit to the Rosguard.
As part of strengthening bilateral cooperation and experience exchange, the instructors from the Canine Center of the F.E. Dzerzhinsky Separate Operative Division acquainted foreign partners with advanced methods of special training of canine units, as well as the possibilities of using the Rosguard canine units in performing service and combat missions.
During the visit to the "Avangard" Special Purpose Mobile Unit (OMON) of the the Rosguard Directorate General of Moscow, departmental specialists demonstrated samples of special equipment and means of protection for service dogs to their Uzbek colleagues, conducted demonstration classes for canine units on detaining simulated criminals, searching for and detecting explosive devices.
The foreign delegation also visited the history room of the "Avangard" Special Purpose Mobile Unit (OMON), where the guests were presented with photographs, documents and personal belongings of Special Forces Units officers who heroically died in the line of duty, as well as finds of the search team of the "St. George" Moscow Special Purpose Mobile Unit (OMON).
Following the visit, the head of the Uzbek delegation expressed gratitude to the Rosguard leadership for the opportunity to get acquainted with the activities of the canine units and noted the high level of training of departmental canine specialists.
