VIKTOR ZOLOTOV AND LAZARO ALBERTO ALVAREZ CASAS DISCUSSED THE ISSUES OF COOPERATION BETWEEN THE ROGUARD AND THE MINISTRY OF INTERIOR OF THE REPUBLIC OF CUBA

On May 26, the negotiations were held in Moscow between the Director of the National Guard Troops Federal Service of the Russian Federation - the Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation, Army General Viktor Zolotov and the Minister of the Interior of the Republic of Cuba, Lieutenant General Lazaro Alberto Alvarez Casas.

The event was attended by the Secretary of State - Deputy Director of the National Guard Troops Federal Service of the Russian Federation - Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation, Colonel General Oleg Plokhoi, as well as generals and officers of both agencies.

During the working meeting, the parties exchanged views on topical issues of the bilateral agenda and discussed the prospects for further development of interagency cooperation.

The heads of the agencies signed the Agreement on Cooperation between the National Guard Troops Federal Service of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Cuba.

The conclusion of the international document will increase the effectiveness of joint work in such areas of service activities as protecting public order and ensuring public safety, counteracting modern forms of terrorism, providing force support to the measures aimed at combating crime, as well as the state supervision in the field of arms trafficking.

The signed Agreement will create the necessary conditions for deepening cooperation through the exchange of experience, training of personnel, joint exercises and trainings.
