The servicemen of the “Vityaz” Special Purpose Center of the Russian National Guard Troops arrived in Moscow from Kuwait where they performed well at the international Special Forces Units competition “Kuwait SWAT Elite International Competition 2024”.
19 teams from 15 countries took part in the competition. The Rosguard servicemen won silver medals, giving way only to the hosts of the championship.
At the Moscow Domodedovo Airport, the Rosguardsmen were solemnly met by the head of the Directorate General for the Special Forces Units of the Rosguard, the Hero of Russia, Major General Pavel Indyk, the commander of the Separate Operational Division named after F.E. Dzerzhinsky of the National Guard Troops Major General Nikolai Kuznetsov, commander of the "Vityaz" Special Purpose Center, the Hero of Russia Colonel Alexander Beloglazov, officers of the Rosguard Central Command, relatives and friends.
In Kuwait, the Rosguard servicemen demonstrated their professional skills in various stages of the competition. The special obstacle course turned out to be quite a test, where the Russian team showed the best time, and performing shooting exercises against the background of significant physical exertion became difficult.
The “Vityaz” servicemen achieved high performance and worldwide recognition thanks to regular training, a creative approach to solving problems, constant self-improvement and extensive experience in participating in combat operations.
