In Moscow, the Director of the Federal Service of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation - Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation General of the Army Viktor Zolotov held a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard Lieutenant General Yerkin Botakanov.
As part of the reception of the delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the negotiations were held with the Secretary of State - Deputy Director of the National Guard Troops Federal Service of the Russian Federation - Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation, Colonel General Oleg Plokhoi.
During the working meetings, the parties discussed topical issues of interservice cooperation, prospects and vectors for the further development of bilateral service contacts.
At the end of the event, Colonel General Oleg Plokhoi and Lieutenant General Yerkin Botakanov signed the Agreement on Cooperation between the National Guard Troops Federal Service of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The agreement provides for the exchange of experience between the parties on the issues of protecting public order and ensuring public safety, combating terrorism, extremism and crime, developing sports and cultural ties.
During their stay in Russia, the Kazakh delegates visited the Orders of Zhukov, Lenin, October Revolution and Red Banner Separate Operational Division named after Felix Dzerzhinsky of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation. Foreign partners were shown modern models of weapons and military equipment, the Special Forces personnel outfit.
In addition, demonstration performances of the Special Forces units and crews of mine-detecting and patrol-search canine teams were held for foreign guests.
