ROSGGUARDSMEN FROM THE CHECHEN REPUBLIC BECAME CHAMPIONS OF THE OPEN TOURNAMENT IN TACTICAL SHOOTING IN THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS

The team of "Akhmat-Grozny" Special Purpose Mobile Unit (OMON) of the Rosguard Directorate for the Chechen Republic won the IV Open Tournament in Practical (tactical) Shooting among operational-combat purpose units, which was held in the Republic of Belarus.
The competition was attended by 16 teams of the best Special Forces Units from Russia, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. Each stage of the tournament became a real test for the fighters, but all participants successfully coped with the tasks, demonstrating a high level of training and coherence. According to the results of the tournament, the team of "Akhmat-Grozny" Special Purpose Mobile Unit (OMON) took first place among foreign participants.
"Our fighters showed a worthy result, which will be further improved and honed, and the experience will be transferred to other units. "We are grateful to the Republic of Belarus for the warm welcome and high level of the competition," said Deputy Chief of the Rosguard Directorate for the Chechen Republic Colonel Adam Khizriev.
The team from Uzbekistan took second place, and the "bronze medal" was taken by the "Mirage" Special Rapid Response Unit (SOBR) from Nizhny Novgorod. Among the Belarusian teams, the OMON of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Grodno Regional Executive Committee performed best. The Gomel team climbed to the second step of the podium, and the team from Vitebsk took the third place.
