COLONEL GENERAL OLEG PLOKHOI SIGNED A MEMORANDUM OF MUTUAL UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE ROSGUARD AND THE INTERNAL TROOPS OF MONGOLIA

A delegation of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Justice and Internal Affairs of Mongolia was received in Moscow. State Secretary - Deputy Director of the Rosguard, Colonel General Oleg Plokhoi, held negotiations with the head of the Mongolian delegation, Chief of Staff of the Internal Troops of Mongolia, Brigadier General Chingis Rantsendorzh, at the end of which the interagency Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the National Guard Troops Federal Service of the Russian Federation and the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Justice and Internal Affairs of Mongolia.
The document provides for the exchange of experience on issues of law enforcement, protection of important state facilities, the fight against terrorism and extremism, and ensuring force support to the activities aimed at combating crime.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on current issues on the agenda and discussed prospects for the further development of interagency cooperation.
In addition, the Mongolian delegation visited the Central Museum of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation, where they got acquainted with the history of the Rosguard.
At a demonstration performance in the Separate Operational Division named after F.E. Dzerzhinsky of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation, the Special Forces Units servicemen demonstrated to foreign guests the skills of neutralizing armed criminals, and dog handlers demonstrated the work of mine detection and patrol dogs. Modern models of weapons, special equipment and the gear of the personnel were also presented to the attention of foreign partners.
At the Rosguard Directorate General for the city of Moscow, foreign partners were shown the capabilities of the “Avangard” Special Purpose Mobile Unit (OMON) to combat crime and ensure the protection of public order.
